Goals: to use some marbled fabric and try some embellishments.
I used to marble fabric. It was fun. So I have quite a lot of it, but I never really got the hang of using marbled fabric in my work. I thought I would try to use marbled fabrics in my journal quilts and try working in a non-representational mode. I tried some heavy thread in the bobbin on my Janome 6500 for the first time, did some stitched and scrunched ribbon and beading.
