Journal Quilts: January 2006 A warm spring-like day in January inspired an outing to the nearby city of Lynchburg. It was a walk back in time to visit my old college campus and walk the neighborhoods filled with Victorian houses. Although I went to college there in the late 1970's, I was not familiar with the wonderful historic homes scattered throughout the city. They are magnificent. My love for Victorian Architecture and especially the charm of their fanciful turrets suggested a theme for my Journal Quilts. Could I find enough of them worthy of capturing in fabric?
